Today’s walk. Same as yesterday’s walk but the glorious sun is out. And spring is in the air.
My mum was born 104 years ago today in Paisley Scotland. The middle girl of three, with one brother. It seems so long ago as to be nearly unbelievable. Lived through depression and war and migration to the other side of the world. And survived five kids in seven and a half years.
It’s quite crazily beautiful. It rains a fair bit. And it’s warmer though cold this week. We also have 100 beaches. Many of them white sand. Ten minutes away.
I’m about 130 kilometres south of Sydney. 200 metres from the shores of St Georges Basin. Next to Jervis Bay. This is a drone shot from directly above our place. The Basin is bigger than Sydney Harbour.

It was nearly real here. In our beautiful Murray’s Beach. It still has the huge carpark built for the nuclear reactor. Of course it’s in Booderee which is ACT land. Also now run by the local Aboriginal mob.
Chat gpt has its uses. It was probably a chapter of this. Anthropological lens turned in is whites for once. Sounds dry but that’s not how I remember it. But I admit to having a weird mind.
12 minute walk today. Getting it done. A bit of breathing issue but heart was fine. #heartfailurefitness
Lunch. After my walk. In surprisingly fond of raw Zuchinni, and my home pickled cabbage. Black beans for a protein lift.

This is our power usage from #ACTEWAGL showing solar output (gold) and usage (green). Only in 4 months is usage greater than contribution, yet we pay more and more and more for the privilege of providing free (to them) electricity to the grid. Aren’t they just lucky? Repeated in so many homes.
Well since you feel free to disagree with such certainty - No it doesn’t. It may have been used that way but it has a broader meaning as a societal paradigm. In an Australian context -
