Best harvest of Japanese quince (Chaenomeles japonica) for years! I make these into a liqueur with vodka and sugar. You must remove all seeds which contain cyanide.

Surely one of the most important volumes on a Carolingian bishop. Contents below (apologies for poor photos). I hope to review it at some point.

Have just received this book in three volumes over 900 pages with great illustrations. Anspert was one of the most interesting ninth-century bishops. This book is definitive.
