You’ve an odd way of posting if that’s the case

This guy really appreciates your priorities when it comes to deciding who to back.

Folk in the US can watch whatever they want, but the idea that nowhere else watches the women’s game is a fiction.

Yet to find anything in writing, but it’s not artistic license on the part of the painter. This engraving by James Sargant Storer (1771-1853) shows the stairs from the water leading up to the other side of the same wall in the painting- the chimney topped buildings here also don’t exist today.

The gate opened directly onto the Thames- prisoners were rowed into the tower and taken up some stairs. There’ve been points in my lifetime when there’s still be water at the foot of the stairs, but it’s been drained for a good while- this photo’s what it looks like if you were to visit today

Far too simplistic a take- the economy/living standards/media manipulation/politicisation in the interests of the 1% are the predominant factors in what’s happening here. The original of this cartoon’s always been the most succinct summary of the issues.

Sugar played a solid mix of tracks from their back catalogue (Copper Blue/Beaster/FUEL/b-sides/tracks from their live album). I think the only difference between the two sets was the addition of Come Around on the latter date. Great fun (the Beaster tracks were the highlight).

Caught the first & last shows of Sugar’s European tour over the last 2 weeks. J Robbins supported, playing a great mix of his solo stuff, Jawbox (Savoury/Static), Burning Airlines (Outside the Aviary), Office of Future Plans (Salamander) and even throwing in a Lungfish cover (Love Is Love).
