I called my representatives. It's my first step until I know more that I can do. Here is what I said, well, tried to say, my voice cracked a lot. (The last part was for my reps that are actually actually trying a good deal of the time…might not apply in a lot of districts…)

I just heard the report that OUR missiles are the ones that killed over a 100 school children in their place of learning in Iran. I don't know the correct avenue for accountability, but I know YOU do. The people of the United States and the international community—and their families, need to know that our country will not stand for the murder of children, and there will be swift, immediate justice for the decision makers of this heinous war crime. Please defend the integrity of our nation and memory of those innocents that were killed. Thank you for your time, consideration, and continued service in the face of hardships of our nation.

2/ Use experts: Find trusted analysts. Look for those explaining patterns, not just events
3/ Remember: Feeling overwhelmed is the point. When you recognize this, you regain power. Take breaks. Process. This is a marathon.
4/ Practice going slow: Wait 48hrs before reacting to new policies. The urgent clouds the important. Initial reporting often misses context
5/ Build community: Share the cognitive load. Different people track different issues. Network intelligence beats individual overload.

Remember: They want you scattered. Your focus is resistance.

I'm sure everyone else knew about this, but I'm trying to better understand how info on my phone is used and created. Came across: Settings > Screen Time > Content & Privacy Restrictions > Intelligence & Siri (using iPhone 13, iOS v. 18.2.1)

Intelligence & Siri settings with Apple Intelligence for both Image Creation and Writing Tools and Chat GPT Extension put as 'Don't Allow'
