Elderly trans novelist and poet living in London.
Like a number of other people - more than I would have dreamed possible when I first met Rachel Pollack and the GLF TS/TV/DQ group 55 years ago this September- I'm having my contribution to the community recognised today. #TDOV
Demo against Digital ID and surveillance state at Angel. A lot of honking in support.
Another couple of volumes of Selected Poems in due course. One of them all the narrative poems of which I am surprised there are a lot.
It's my 76th birthday today. I transitioned in my late 20s - should have been earlier but fear and politics - and I will never back down. I've had a good and productive life of politics and writing and I hope to get more done yet. Remember GCs lie. A photo from 79 and one from 23...
FUCK THE US SUPREME COURT. FUCK THE UK SUPREME COURT Luckily I already wrote the poem.
Ironically back in the early 2010s, it was GCs who first posted one of the few extant photos of the newly transitioned Roz of my late 20s as some sort of Blanchard Ian smear only to discover that it made me cool as fuck. Which I was and am down the years.
This confirms -more or less - what I've been saying about the words 'sex' and 'gender' in the 04 GRA.
