The Big Short (2015) I was right on the middle of the whole financial collapse, working at a bank at the time, and to see this side of it was utterly mind blowing. Such a good film. And then the ending where Michael Burry makes the point about water - utterly chilling.
Yes. Picking this up again cos my brain is letting me do stuff for a bit haha. Transformers (1986) 🤖 Still the best Transformers movie, and one of the best animated films ever! Hard to believe it’s 40 years old. I saw this at the cinema FML HAHA. That Optimus prime scene fucked us kids up! 🤭😢
Vampire Hunter D (1985) One of the first Manga I saw and still top 10 for me in all of anime. Brilliant English dub too, even from back then.
Phone booth (2002) This is such a great film and one loads have seemingly forgotten about. Keifer Sutherland is so good in this as the antagonist sniper and (a young) Colin Farrell carries the film amazingly. Another that you should check out if you haven’t already
Nightmare On Elm Street 3: Dream Warriors (1987) One of the films that started my horror obsession. I saw this way too young, it scared the shit outta me, and I LOVED it! A film I never get bored of.
Project A part 2 (1987) One of my absolute fave JC movies. The Chinese navy, pirates and corrupt police, what’s not to love? Oh and not forgetting the amazing martial arts, crazy stunts and insane set pieces. Go watch it, please, you’ll thank me after.
Clerks (1994) Of course I start with Clerks. It’s a perfect snapshot of 90s life. And it’s funny. Oh so damn funny. A masterpiece.

Moving house has been a great exercise in reconnecting or rediscovering old stuff I’ve collected over the years. These books have followed me around since the 80s/90s when I was OBSESSED with them (Avenger is a reprint) but they’ve normally been boxed away Time to get my pencil and die out again

So, last night was AMAZING! The gig went great. A really good turnout and for our new singers first show, not a bad start 🤭 The whole day was brilliant and it was a privilege to share the stage with so many amazingly talented musicians. Go learn an instrument folks - it’s the best 🎶🎹🎤🎸🥁🪗 ✌️🫶🤘
