I'm genuinely confused as to why this man is under investigation. It's my understanding that, even though prediction market should absolutely be illegal, they are not, and that people using insider information to game bets/odds is both encouraged and part of its supposed frat-guy appeal.

As a left-leaning registered D, I recognize that - for structural reasons - the combination of the Dems and the American left are the best hope for women and minorities to be protected under the law. And I also understand why, when they *look* at us, women and minorities don't trust us to do that.

Democrats condemning and Republicans defending a public figure for overt misogyny and sexual assault feels like the correct order of things. And sure it took them collectively longer than it should have, but good for the Dems for finally figuring that out.
