Reha was one of few names allowed to Jewish girls. Her divorced parents were also deported. Father Freddy became weak: Gassed at 24. Sis Eva and her mum Elisabeth survived. The latter emigrated to Palestine, Eva married Officer Ross Brewster, settled in Canada and wrote 2 books on Auschwitz&family.

8/n But Angela, who was born in Auschwitz on December 21, 1944, fortunately proved them all wrong. As one of the youngest survivors from the Holocaust, she has no tattoo but an indelible mark on her life that she shares for a reason – to teach the younger generations.

Born in Auschwitz - Angela Orosz 1/n Her mother Velska was three months pregnant and when she was rounded up by the Nazis and taken to the camp. When she and her husband arrived in May 1944, she along with the Jewish people were immediately separated by gender.

Eva Heyman - The Hungarian Anne Frank 1/n Eva Heyman was born in Nagyvarad, Hungary (now Oradea, Romania) in 1933. Eva began her diary in February 1944 and ended it in May. She was deported to Auschwitz a short time later, and was gassed on 17 October 1944.
In a letter that Jewish boy Hans Ament sent from Izieu to his mother in a sanatorium, the ten-year-old wrote: "100,000,000 big kisses from your son who is always thinking of you." On 30 May 1944 he was deported from Drancy to Auschwitz where he was murdered.
