Some Minneapolis City Council news: Incoming City Council Members Stevenson, Warren, Whiting, and Shaffer have released a joint letter pledging to build a more collaborative culture at City Hall.
Hennepin Avenue is officially open! Mayor Jacob Frey, council members Aisha Chughtai and Katie Cashman, public works staff, and small business owners were in attendance. Cars are now moving freely on the street.
Last night, MN AG Keith Ellison launched his re-election campaign for a third term. The event was well-attended, and included multiple state legislators, labor, farm, and public health leaders, as well as Governor Tim Walz.
