@ruggy
Furry artist, nonbinary gremlin (they/she/any), late 30s. This is my main, mostly-chaos-posting account, but you can see my art at @ruggy-art.bsky.social Also on FurAffinity as Ruggy (more conventional art) & fuzzysexwizard (TF stuff)
I present to you: a cat who loves belly rubs and cannot get enough of them (in a 30-minute time window anyway)
How 'bout this chicken sandwich I finished yesterday, featuring me in big-titties kitty mode, my spouse bein' a humpy dog, and a bird friend of ours in the middle
looking over to see her staring at me like this always short-circuits my brain hwugh yes hi baby i love u i'll come pet u
They just know! You passed the fuzzy vibe check. My dog won me over... tbh when I saw her picture, but she clinched it when she hid her face between my arm & the couch I was sitting on at the rescue. It said to me "I'm overwhelmed, help me feel safe?" & I was like "yes, of course, you're -my- dog"
i want y'all to know that this is the buddy whose character in the RPG we're playing is, basically, an alien hivemind inhabiting a stack of raccoons in a trenchcoat, now forever-haunted by a hot dog mascot tulpa he's a good dude, it sucks that this happened to him
'man' is a thing some people just are and i think it is, in fact, not great to cede that territory to the worst people alive
Something that drives me batty: the interval setting on windshield wipers. My brain keeps going "the big part of the gradient must imply a bigger interval, therefore more time between wipes" and it is the opposite
so like, i dunno. i have a hard time telling what's legit. i've always had a hard time getting into someone else's head & how i do something isn't often how others would. (i'd just hope we'd all have enough respect for each other to not use The Bad Machine & charge for it) but here's one of mine
this is just pupside-down mode! they don't write about it in the instructions, but it's a perfectly functional arrangement
grackles. very iridescent, very everywhere around here, make cool sounds. a+ birds.
my brain, while driving to clients' houses and watching the heat shimmer off the pavement while cars and cars and cars drive around too and i can't keep my brain off of the ozone alert and the climate etc
oh my god, this is the aesthetic i've been going for my whole adulthood and i didn't even realize it
they are cowards who do not know true joy would they deny me seeing -this- joy, too?? i bet they would
this whole series is so good, the covers are all so good, but the omnibus cover really grabbed my attention first time i saw it
new* cat who dis (*same cat, baggier eyes) today was weird and stressful so i treated myself to drawing a fresh icon (b/c i did not have working on more complicated stuff -in- me today lmao)
been reading through @rickgriffin.bsky.social 's A&H club in the mornings while i eat breakfast and i did not expect a kangaroo child to give me such snap flashbacks to life as an undiagnosed neurodivergent child (it is very good)
rip to this lovely squinty queen. was a long-term special needs resident of the local humane society, and had to wear a poofy flower collar to keep her from chewing on her skin when she had a flare did not stop her from being the cuddliest, most trusting cat i've ever met (so far)
thinking back to a time in my life when i was hideously depressed, saddled with debt, & doubting my ability to interface with capitalism in a way that would get me out of it i considered, for a while, joining the military. but didn't, bc i didn't want to leave my sickly lil old man. thanks, buddy.
Decided to re-read Vattu on a whim (I fell off before it finished due to Life Happening) and boy howdy is it ever relevant www.rice-boy.com/vattu/ give it a read if you are feeling some kind of way about how things are, i think
also i did a cross-stitch of an archaeopteryx in college and that seems like a pretty weird thing to do if they're not at least, like, Up There in terms of favorite dinosaurs
