Gluing tires. Someone's gotta keep these old school techniques fresh in the wrenching skills box. They still hold superior ride quality over anything else IMO.
Another Lutsen 99er in the books. My right knee gave me all sorts of problems around mile 50. Which sucked because I was in a good position and the legs were feeling good. It got so bad I considered DNF'ing around mile 70. But I slogged on and finished so I'll take that win.
My goal is to finish the Lutsen 99er in about 6-1/2 hours. 6 bottles of Skratch High Carb. 72oz camelback with Precision Hydration tabs. Maurten Gels. Maple Syrup and Uncrustsbles on reserve for palate fatigue. Per hour it comes to about 600mL fluids, 100g carbs and 800mg sodium. Yowza.
Shoveled 2 tons of Buckshot into our new fire pit area yesterday. Then put in a late, hard, 2 hour Zwift ride. Today I'm very tired.
6 years since we all witnessed the murder of George Floyd by the MPD. I took this photo a few days later after the chaos had subsided. We walked down to Lake Street to help cleanup. It was eerily quiet. The entire neighborhood had come out to help clean up. I recall the events vividly.

This little guy survived an extinction level event in the fish tank after I stupidly cleaned the scrubber during a filter change essentially wiping out all the good bacteria. Causing the ammonia level to soar. 6 other fish died overnight. Brutal. We've renamed this one Dominator.
