The longest run (22k) since last year’s #BigHalf preparing for this year’s edition. Along the Regent’s Canal to St Pancras with loops around Greenwich Park, Mudchute Farm and Victoria Park. Pretty even pace and effort and finished before the sun burnt off the clouds. #GreenRunners #JogDivision

Next door was ‘Frida (Kahlo) - The Making of an Icon’ -it was a big exhibition but felt very padded out by work of her contemporaries and artists she had influenced, as a result it left me feeling somewhat underwhelmed.

I found Tracey Emin’s ‘A Second Life’ also on at #TateModern rather depressing and joyless and we passed through it quite quickly.

The well know bed of Tracey Emin with a rug next to it. The words It’s Not Me Crying, It’s My Soul’ is lit behind the bed.

Loved the Julio Le Parc ‘Light, Colour, Action exhibition’ at #TateModern - it was fun, interactive and varied.

It was my 200th #parkrun at Catford #parkrun & another where the km got progressively slower as I wilted in the heat. Slinging cones & arrows of outrageous fortune around a former Charlton ground (set up) before. Chatting and being made dizzy by a 3 year old afterwards. #GreenRunners #JogDivision

#AlphabetChallenge #WeekAforAbandoned A long disused gas holder at Lewisham’s Bell Green on a rare snowy day in the capital. The land was more valuable than a piece of industrial archaeology and they were demolished in 2020.

An earlyish long run (19.2k) before it got crazily hot. A strange route which tried to maximise time in the shade around Lee, Sutcliffe Park, Blackheath and Greenwich Park. Very slow but evenly paced, overall I was pleased with it given the conditions. #GreenRunners #JogDivision

Loved ‘Pride’ at the National Theatre, despite generally not enjoying musicals. The wonderful story of the Lesbians & Gays Support the Miners and its legacy is told. I laughed, I cried (and got bloomin’ annoyed with the signing). Best thing that have seen at the theatre this year. #PrideTheMusical
