Just an Alonzo Church guy living in Turing's world I do physical design on CPU cores at one of those places near Boston Write a weird amount of Rust these days
Finally decided to trade in my Benelli; picking up this beauty next Friday, can't wait I've always been a much bigger fan of the Himalayan 411 than the 450, and they're getting so rare now. This thing is like the exact spec I've always wanted; red with ABS and factory cargo
Over the weekend I modified a Razer Naga Elite V2 to use electromechanical switches instead of opticals. Kailh's 2-pin dome-style microswitches are totally silent, and don't have the same debounce issues normal microswitches have. No extra debouncing was necessary for this conversion
The question is not whether I'll get the Titan 2 Elite, but whether I will wear it in a pouch on my belt and which "custom protection kit" I'll use. Excuse me, leather holster
The trip also involved unplanned detours. For fun, not for extra charging! We detoured out of Moncton to see the Hopewell Rocks, which added about 100km to the drive from Moncton to Wolfsville on day 2.
After watching @techconnectify.bsky.social and @agingwheels.bsky.social videos about EVs, and particularly EV road trips for years, I finally decided to give it a shot. I rented my first ever EV, having never driven one, and did this route over two days. Total trip was about 700 miles
So ok, it's been really clear that this is the case for a while, but it's worth saying straight up: When they say "the network", they just mean HTTP. "If you don't like us you can go build your own entire website, and the work we've done makes that no easier than just using HTTP"
New keeb after minor pain and suffering (burned some microcontroller vias, had to desolder and put a new one in lol) Trying linears for the first time since I started building, went with NK Cream Arcs at like 100 grams of bottom out, lol. Not lubed or filmed yet, deciding if I like the weight
Btw was this guy from the Evercold keynote AI? Me and the friend I watched it with were pretty sure it was AI
This is like getting mad at an OS dev because you could theoretically put a text file called birthdate.txt in your homedir imo
Convinced you can neither misspell nor mispronounce Worcester, it exists in some sort of blind spot of the English language (We pronounce this as Wooster for those who don't know)
I'm actually going to call this a moral failure and point to it as "where we went wrong" Programming is an act of creation, like anything else. It should be fun, and we should care about it, but we can't, due to capitalism. Wow yes, thank you for noticing, my room lights are both blue and pink.
Fuck it, messing around with Peltier elements I know they're shit for cooling and power draw, but you can also mess with them on a workbench
How do you even build a site like this in 2026 lol Like actually, what stack even allows you to target specifically Safari on iOS and no other platform lmao
Yeah so that AI bait poster also apparently bought her account just to troll on it or something, lol Or rebranded an old alt I guess, idk
And yet AI weirdos fantasize about it, lol The complete loser energy of this image haunts me
Like this image may be AI, idk I didn't look that closely But it doesn't /say/ AI, and I've seen an image like that 10,000 times, and they all say AI these days
