8/2/79 - 46 years ago today my mother was driving me to a little league baseball practice. We heard on the radio that my favorite Yankee player, Thurman Munson, had been killed in a plane crash. I arrived at the field In tears and I told my teammates. Thurman Munson belongs in the Hall of Fame!
