"Dicey" means unpredictable, risky, uncertain, or potentially dangerous. When something is described as dicey, it implies you are taking a chance where the outcome could easily turn out poorly—much like rolling a die. Friends, I give you, Richard “Dicey”Tice.
Farage on GBNews today spouting more tosh. Don’t panic, I don’t watch it, I saw this on Youtube. Thing is, how is he allowed to have a slot on GBNews without GBNews featuring Count BinFace? We’re in purdah aren’t we?
Burnham at his desk today wondering wether to go with the Bristol Channel and Swansea Bay Tidal Lagoon project that will generate green energy for millions of households or continue with HS2 to link Birmingham to Manchester for the benefit of…, well hardly anyone really. Oh the agony of choice!
An Ipsos poll revealed that 33% of the British public would actively prefer a Count Binface victory compared to just 21% for Farage. But and here’s the kicker, Farage still holding firm in Clacton where he is currently polling around 45%. What is wrong with these people?
Instead of facing any sanctions, Michael Gove was awarded a seat in the House of Lords (Baron Gove of Torry) in May 2025 as part of Rishi Sunak's resignation honours list. He also landed the highly influential job of Editor of The Spectator—the legendary right-leaning political weekly magazine.
Peter Kyle looking like a right nana in his high vis PPE and hard hat whilst standing in a car park. Meanwhile, everyone else (even the camera operator) is simply and sensibly dressed. It’s the sort of thing that gets sound and essential health and safety measures a bad name. Stop it Peter!
Well there’s that but Lords Reform was in the Labour Manifesto and that’s what they were elected on so we did get a say. Part of it has already been enacted but Labour requires a second term and a few more appointees to finish the job.
I’m looking forward to the televised debate where Farage challenges Count Binface over his pledge to cap croissants at £1.00. and that’s just for starters!
Even LBC is “at it”. This tragic story tries to headline a nearby mosque to a shooting in Birmingham. Further into the story we read, “Police stressed that although the shooting happened close to a mosque, they do not believe it is connected to the place of worship”. So why even mention it?
@rosatkins.bsky.social Ros Atkins is the acceptable face of the BBC. If he tells you something, believe him. He steps away from the usual spin and bigotry and simply tells you what has happened, why it happened and often, what’s going to happen next.
A picture paints a thousand words. Reform councillors publicly and proudly stating that they would rather vote for a dead man who raped hundreds of children than vote Labour. Head shake moment!
Is anyone else having problems linking their Octopus account to their Electroverse Account? I’ve been trying every day for a week and despite emails and telephone calls, nothing. Just this. Electroverse couldn’t be less helpful if they tried. Absolute rubbish! @octopus.energy
I wonder who Reform will put up against Andy Burnham? Zia Yusuf is the big smell at the top and he’s not an MP. Watch this space!
Colonel Alistair "Al" Carns DSO OBE MC MP could be worth a flutter for the Labour Leadership. I hope he’s thinking about it.
There are far better birding progs on YouTube etc. Try The Rock ‘N” Roll Birder or Mike Lane. There’s many more.
OK, let’s debate it. I’ll start. The source is Google so I’m happy to be corrected.
“I don’t think we need to concern ourselves with trivia Prime Minister”
“Ah yes, the tax thingy, I can explain everything …” I bet you can Ticey!
This changes everything. Trump has now gone completely Tonto. Time to call in the men in white suits and time for the King to cancel the meeting.
I don’t do opinion, only facts. I recommend The House of Government: A Saga of the Russian Revolution" by Yuri Slezkine. It is widely considered the definitive work on why the Russian Revolution wasn't just a political shift, but a millenarian religious movement that happened to be atheist.
Why do we make such a fuss over the number of so called “illegal migrants”? In the last 5 years, (to June 2025) 5.6m people arrived here “legally” whilst just 195,000 arrived here “illegally” and 120,000+ of those have been returned/deported. 2.7m Brits emigrated. Home Office and ONS data.
This visual shows what a large-scale tidal lagoon could look like at dusk, with the generation infrastructure in the distance and new, healthy mudflats and saltmarshes in the foreground. It can provide clean energy while creating stable, "Nature Positive" habitats for birds and other wildlife.
