Nearly retired, longtime financial aid admin, nerd / geek ( SW/ST/DW/LoTR/Marvel) Can't remember if my first love was Spiderman or Rudolph. Saw OG Star Wars in the theater. Believe in love and vote blue. Plan on reading a lot
We got to go last summer when the 70th was just starting - loved our time there and love that we were celebrating milestone ( Disneyland 79th and our 35th anniversary)
Mine is winding down now, but this was it about a week ago. They are beautiful. Got lots of interest at work.
Of course just above your post on my timeline is another Slow Horses reference..
Also, posting pics of Razz, my brother in law's dog. For context, he was still growing, and the shepherd was over a hundred pounds. I think Razz is 140 now. Sweet, gentle, and has about 2 brain cells.
Hang in there. If the sky is clear and you can see the moon or a star, smile. If it's cloudy, listen for an owl or a frog. If it's silent, just take in a breath and know that you are part of something vast. I saved a picture of Jupiter earlier, and as amazing as it is, you are more worthy.
Yes, when he was 3 most, ears and paws were huge. At 1 year we just had to get a new cat tree with a bigger platform that he wouldn't roll off of
Here's my Rosie..named her when we brought her home when I was 3 and she was my best friend for 18 years ❤️
Take heart and comfort- there is beauty in the world and that includes you. Here are 2 of my 4 kitties. The grey boy is full of energy, 11 months old and chases his 11 year old elders. Rare for them to be this close and quiet.
Here's ours...she was a neighborhood roamer for many years and now she is warm and dry inside.
Mine want to snuggle up at night just as I should be going to bed. Excuse to stay up late
@mommadci.bsky.social Did you watch the Macy's parade? I'm running behind on it ( dvr'd so I can skip thru commercials if I want) but anyway the Flower Mound band from Texas was wild
Got word today from our cat sitting friend that our boys somehow managed to knock over the cat tree, with some collateral damage to a small ceramic Toothless who is now wingless. I know who the culprit is, as he zooms into and up the structure with the force of a mack truck
In the Keys with family. Used to live down south but haven't been this far in 40 years. Very different than I remember. Loving the visit, but also a little horrified by the development. Enjoyed Key West yesterday and kayaking today.
