Dude posted saying he wasn't calling posts skeets so I posted jokingly "Banish the non-Skeeter". He blocks me and 80+ others who where joking with him and acts like he was being attacked. Dude if you cant handle some jokes probably shouldn't be on the internet. bsky.app/profile/sage...

The text is a page from my book and it reeds:
Locke saw the light and dipped around the corner of the stack. Two individuals walked down the other side of the row, one had a crystal torch. Neither of them looked like they had noticed him or even suspected they weren't alone. They were probably just doing their nightly check of the warehouse. He waited for them to pass and walked to the farther side of the building before heading back to the window. But as he started he heard a low whimper from a cage in the row opposite him. He took a second to glance into the dark cage. There laying down in a bedding of hay was a small strange creature. It looked kind of like a squirrel, but it wasn't. It had bigger ears with little tufts of hair at the ends and a longer bushy tail. Also its eyes weren't pure black, it had pupils with a turquoise sparkle to them. The creature's ears were drooped down by its sides and it stared up at him from its bedding not with fear or elatement, but with acceptance. Acceptance of its fate, its confinement.
“Meep” the creature called out with a quite strained noise. Something tugged in Locke's chest hearing the creature’s cry. Locke glanced over his shoulder at the guards, he saw the light still at the other end of the warehouse. He hesitated, he had to get out of here, but he looked back in the cage and the animal looked up at him with big round eyes.
“Damit” Locke mumbled.
He drew back the metal latch of the cage and opened the door. The animal barely moved. Maybe because of inability, it was very thin, the creature like all the others here had clearly not been fed properly. But no, its lack of movement was confusion.
