I’m in Newfoundland and i could be posting beautiful scenery enjoyed in lovely cool temps but instead i’m posting a picture of my frog friend (toad?) from Gros Morne. We were only together 30 seconds but he didn’t seem scared and i feel we had a meaingful connection.

Recycling compliance in southern ontario. Of course, as we all know, barely any of the contents of these bins will get recycled in Ford’s dystopia. Makes me really curious why money was wasted on new bins. Click to see more uniformity. We deserve our fate.

I can’t have flowers much, just a few begonia in pots, but I have the most exciting back garden, in total shade. Bunnies birds squirrels. They all love the water feature, food and shade.

I’m watching ‘lead children’ on Netflix. It’s set in communist Poland in the early 70s. But it is where we are. Substitute the climate crisis and COVID for lead poisoning. The lying by public officials is the same.

I’m home on March break and I mentioned to my daughter that the cats seem happy to have my company, following me around with interest. She said Jaspurr meows plaintively like he’s lost something for 40 min or so when I leave for work. What a nice, loyal chap.
