This little fella has been visiting us the last couple days. We have no idea if he's got a family, but he's an absolute sweetie. We always have drinking water out for the deer so he knows where to hydrate, and made sure he got a little snack. We are calling him Bart.
I need a public administration of the cognitive test to a large crowd of people, televised, to shut this stupid fuck up about how he "aces" them.
We share land with a bunch of these little sweeties, so I really liked that deer tea light shade :)
I learned this week that the Northwestern Crow, who was its own species, got reclassified as a subspecies of the American Crow in 2031. Fuck that! What total bullshit. Who started, wanted, or needed this!?!

I'm not gonna lie, it's been a real fucking stressful day. Hubs and I have handled it better than we have dealt with tough things in the past 10 years. We communicated through moments I thought a panic attack was imminent. Also, we saw the first fawn of our little co-habitant herd. Just breathe.
One day they will figure out how to breed tiny giraffes, and when that day comes I will be first in line at the giraffe store with my life savings.
