Like usual on July 5, the sky is gray looking east of me, but there are no clouds. I can’t understand why people would voluntarily choose this, especially after recent big fires around here. Feeling lucky I’m not in the purple area right now:

Guess what I got in the mail today: Astroturf BS from billionaires trying to stop the billionaire wealth tax ballot prop with their own prop, misleadingly framed around protecting average people’s retirement savings.

An envelope mailed to me trying to get me to sign their petition to get an anti-billionaire-wealth-tax measure on this November’s California ballot. If you get one of these, for the love of everything that’s holy, don’t f-ing sign it.

I was thinking more about fire rated windows being required by CBC 1021.2. But this fits into the exception, with 2 stairs and no dead ends. I guess really the only thing is safety glazing w/in 24” of either side of a door, but that’s only at <60”AFF. up.codes/viewer/calif...
