24/25: first season in NL with York, quiet Aug/Sep again then scores loads from Oct onwards. 25/26: only 1 in Aug, 5 in Sep looks better but 4 of those pens. The open play goals flow again from Oct, even though he's moved to a no.10 role when Stones breaks into the team in Nov.
Really enjoyed researching and writing the latest Same Old City Ultras article looking at Ollie Pearce's scoring stats over the last 4 seasons. The brief was to work out whether his "August curse" is real. Tl;dr - yes, his scoring rate in August is much lower than later months.

A cask version of Same Old Citra will be pouring at The Slip Inn this weekend, as part of the Swan and Slip beer festival. We're planning to be there for a first tasting before the Exeter game on Saturday.
We trekked out to Trig last month and got stuck in with the brewing process, as well as sampling some of their other excellent beers. And now, you can enjoy the fruits of our (very minimal) labour, as Same Old Citra is released in cask, draft and can versions this week.
Just picked this up in a little bookshop in Knaresborough - a diary of the 2012/13 season, had no idea it existed!

Performance of the season was the 5-0 home win over Carlisle back in September.
Our goal of the season award went to Josh Stones for his second goal of the night in the 3-0 win at Scunthorpe.
