Has anyone seen this film? In F. J. Ossang's 1997 film DOCTOR CHANCE, Joe Strummer played Vince Taylor as an ex–rock star turned private aviator. In 1959 Taylor wrote "Brand New Cadillac" which the Clash covered on LONDON CALLING.

I stopped listening to R.E.M. in '84 after the Reckoning album. Their worldwide fame completely passed me by. In my blindered mind, they're still a quirky college rock & jangly pop band with that cute singer! 👻 (I played the LPs of Reckoning, Murmur & Dead Letter Office so many times!)
