TIL macOS supports up to 30 notification actions

A "Task Overdue" notification from my app, Chiri, on macOS. It includes the actions "Complete" as well as the "Snooze" option which ranges from 15 minutes all the way up to 4026531840 minutes.

i finally figured out how to do proper custom window decorations for macOS :D (after; before)

On the left Chiri window, it's integrating the macOS' traffic lights buttons with the sidebar and header seamlessly.
On the right Chiri winow, it just displays the title bar for Chiri and some traffic lights on the left, while the sidebar and the header are displayed separately below.

We wanted to let you know that garnix is joining forces with Shopify.
We are sad to announce that, as part of this transition, the hosted garnix service will shut down on July 15th 2026. But we are open sourcing the garnix codebase, available here; we hope this will help you smoothly move to using your own instance or a shared one. If you are interested in operating a public community instance, please get in touch - we'd be happy to talk.
We will also be deleting all user data on July 15th. This includes build artifacts. Be sure to download what you want to keep before then.
