Just watched Episodes 1 & 2 of Witch Hat Atelier and delighted to have been enchanted by the experience! (Very faithful to the manga - in all kinds of ways but especially capturing the atmosphere and tone of voice.) Hoping they can maintain this high standard throughout the series...

I wondered too and then I thought maybe ANN chose this image because it's the most recent publication in English? (Announced by CIEL in November and first part is just out, I think in the March '24 issue) subtitled 'Ionia of the Flame Soul' (so not Leorino). We shall see, I guess... 😉
First episode of 'The Witch and the Beast' (the anime) on Crunchyroll tonight and it's really captured the wonderfully sinister atmosphere of Kousuke Satake's manga (which I've reviewed for @animeuknews.net). Definitely worth a watch if you're looking for a dark fantasy with a difference!
