Some of what's blooming in my (fairly shady) West Seattle yard now: large-flowered collomia (collomia grandiflora), goatsbeard (aruncus dioicus), snowberry (symphoricarpos albus), Pacific ninebark (physocarpus capitatus), blue thimble-flower (gilia capitata), western columbine (aquilegia formosa)
These are, admittedly, really cool flowers. But I don't want them to spread more.
