I like the dogs, bikes, fresh baked bread, watercolor painting, crows, the ocean, and righteous fights. Block button superfan. she/her 🇱🇺 & 🇺🇸 Marketing + Biz consultant: 🔗
When I tell people that dog owners in Portland are incredibly stupid and irresponsible with their aggressive dogs (the majority of dogs in my area), this is what I mean.
Cracked open a new watercolor journal this morning. Painting outside is kind of annoying tbh.
Whenever I see folks claim that generative AI is an accessibility tool, I feel super uncomfortable given the eugenics obsessed the CEOs of these companies have. I thought this was a good breakdown. www.instagram.com/p/Dav-epjlsF...
Just after I posted this, I got this misleading (likely illegal if we enforced truth in advertising) ad from TFD, claiming their food cured a 21yo dog.
Here are some cutie pie pigeons to brighten your day. I’ve been visiting them most days and they’re such little sweeties and a really healthy flock compared to what you usually see.
She was Fiona’s best friend, and neither liked dogs much but loved each other, so we love Roxy to bits. (Roxy is the one in the background, Fi is the beautiful perfect angel in the foreground.)
Here it was a couple days ago before it could fly. I was so worried about it. I had to escort it out of the road the other day and was so worried about it.
Reminder that The Farmer’s Dog has killed a bunch of dogs and sickened even more because their formulas aren’t science based and some recipes test at almost 50% fat and they obfuscate this on their packaging. Don’t listen to influencers about nutrition.
Such a sweet little baby corvid. Keep your fingers crossed the little one learns to forage and the basics of flying this week. It’s hopping around really well now.
Opted my dog out of AI at the vet’s office and the young vet joyfully took notes with a steno pad and one of those pick a color ball point pens. I bet they HATE all the AI shit that’s being pushed on them. The fact that they’re calling it “accurate” is bananas.
I got my dog one of those pupsicle toys and instead of licking it to get the treat out, he seems to be trying to figure out how to unscrew the back to extract the treat. As one does. (He’s gotten it about halfway loosened.)
I did a fun companion! Been learning some light effects that are really cool.
Sometimes I borrow Roxy from our neighbors—she was Fiona’s bestie (they were puppies together). She’s a nut and I love her so much.
I had a brain glitch and forgot what monarch butterflies looked like and also forgot the internet existed (not a bad thing) and that I could just look up a photo. Anyway! Spent some time painting today.
Looks like the email newsletter provider Kit is going to start shoving unnecessary "AI" into their platform.

Took the doggo to the beach for his birthday and he got so tired he flopped down along the shore like a dingdong.
