Ten years ago today I received my printed copy of the 1st edition of Elixir in Action. The book was actually released about a month earlier, with the final e-book version published on May 29 (which I completely failed to celebrate, shame, shame 😬).
One conference down, another one around the corner 🎉 Next up, I'm bringing the "Tell me a Story" talk to DORS/CLUC (lnkd.in/dt7ZbiBF), taking place next week in the charming city of Zagreb.
As I'm about to send a few follow-up mails, I'm reminded how conferences are, above all, about human connection. @gigcityelixir.bsky.social was packed with insightful talks, of course, but what I'll remember most are the unstructured, informal chats about tech, life, and everything in between.
