So I slept in this morning, which is something I don't really do. When I woke, I rolled over in the bed & Queen Mocha pops her head out from behind the window curtain so fast I busted out laughing. She's used to being fed around 5am m-f, & 7ish on wknds. Today was 8am & she wasn't going to wait more

Sighs, I was gifted a handmade quilt after i lost everything when my home burned in 2018. My son let his friend use it & I think he spilled something on it. Never told me. So my quilt has been washed for the first time & laid in the sun to finish drying & now im wrapped up in this heavenly quilt.
Fresh out of the oven, nicely seasoned sheetpan eggs with potatoes obrien, green onions and finely grated provolone cheese, choice of bakery fresh Kaiser rolls or buttery croissant.

Morning dog walk, saw this piece of sky that transported me back in time to all the time I spent in the Sierras. The air so clean & clear & the sky is a blue only seen from up there. I loved the view of Mt Lassen & camping at Philbrook Reservoir. Up there is a patch of paved rd in middle of dirt rds
