My Alien OCs, before (2020) vs now (2026) I had a strong desire to break away from the space elf thing that a lot of folks do when designing aliens, of which my old designs were especially bland, so I instead found myself fascinated with making insectoids.

You know when you love a copyrighted character so much and wish they were yours so you make an OC based on them? Yeah. This is Deimos.

My OC Deimos crouching on a square pillar in a nighttime setting with stars behind him. He is a humanoid creature that is partially machine, partially organic, covered in torn strips of flesh and sections of metal and silicone. He has clawed hands, large talon like feet, a small tail, and thin fins on his head. His eyes glow and have slit pupils. His mouth is small and scowling, just above the metal strips that reinforce his jaw. His expression is intense.

I crocheted a cursed yet cutesy tapestry of Elgyem, one of my favorite pokemon. This is the first time I've tried something like this so it's a bit rough. #crochet
