According to Anbernic, the Google account tied to their YouTube has been compromised. If you receive any messages from it asking for personal details or payment, be wary.
This is in reference to the X1 Box app currently on the Play Store. Its "developer" stole code, added some AI generated code to it, and is charging for it on the Play Store. This same work is available for free on GitHub. There are more details in the screenshot below.
