Just saying, but... AHG Accessory House Global make sheepskin earpads for the AirPods Max in pink, and the cans themselves come in lavender. I'm not saying that if I ever get these headphones I'll be a walking trans flag, but I'm not NOT saying it, either.

Welcome to Zoe's #guitar shop! #Blind guitar technician and player with #POTS finally has enough energy to change the strings on her walnut Taylor 50th anniversary AD14 CE . Comedy ensues. It started out SO WELL too. I cleaned and oiled the fretboard which it desperately needed

This black lump of fur sitting on my white kitchen linoleum is my eager assistant, little Miss, our rescue 3 year old English Cocker Spaniel. She actually has black and white fur, but at the angle she was sitting it's impossible to tell, and she loves to be as un photogenic as possible as soon as she sees me trying to take a photo of her

The actual guitar in question. It has a tobacco sunburst finish and a rosewood brown looking fretboard, but it's actually smoked eucalyptus, with a neo-mahogany neck. Even after applying a generous amount of pure mineral oil and wiping it away, the fretboard was still thirsty so I applied a second round and let it soak into the wood before wiping away the excess and continuing with cleaning and restringing

From my in-production YA sports thriller "Split Victory", Chapter 29 - Endgame

While Morgan struggled to endure the intense daggers of ice water, relying on every ounce of her Kenpo training just to keep from screaming, Tiffani was in the middle of her own meltdown in the girls’ locker area, pacing frantically.

“No no no no no this is wrong!” Tiffani squeaked, fidgeting with her hands even as her leading foot shifted subconsciously under her. “The schedule said 6 P.M. I’m not ready for this!”

“Tiffani,” Jen said, “Focus on the exhale.”

“I’m. Trying. But.” Tiffani practically hiccupped, gulping the thin, dry HVAC air, but every staccato breath felt like breathing fine sand into her lungs. Suddenly Liberty shifted her weight and wrapped both arms around Tiffani, a tight, firm pressure.

Tiffani stopped still and silent. For a moment her frantic anxious mind tried to recalibrate. Lights, noise, pressure, smell - that smell. Motor oil and ozone. She shut her eyes tight to block out the light and buried her face in Liberty’s chest and shoulder. Light, check. Smell, anchoring. Breathe, Tiffani.

She forced herself to exhale slowly, and inhaled even more of Liberty’s grounding, machine shop, no fake lavender or cheap rose lotion to distract her.

“Hammers,” Tiffani said in a quiet, calmer tone - not calm by any means. She couldn’t just shut her anxiety off like that, but calm enough to stop shaking like a 9.3 on the Tiffani scale.

“What?” Jen asked as Tiffani began to finally, slowly pull her own pads into place.

“Meteor hammers,” Liberty said. “Not real ones, but rope darts, you know?”

Jen’s face shifted from curious to relieved to actually amused. “When all this is over,” she said, “Remind me to tell you about how I trained with heavy sand bags being thrown at me blindfolded.”

The biggest adjustment has been going from the smaller concert size FS830 with its 1 & 11/16" nut to the Grand Auditorium with its 1 & 3/4" nut, but for a dreadnaught style the GA really is an incredibly versatile size. Doesn't feel like it takes up my whole lap Additional photos from the listing:

My new 50th Anniversary Taylor AD14CE with torrefied top and walnut back/sides in hand-stained Tobacco Sunburst. It sounds *exactly* like what I expect a walnut body guitar to sound like, and I am COMPLETELY IN LOVE y'all. Will post sound samples soon™ #NewGearDay #NewGuitarDay #guitar

A grand auditorium style (which is basically a slightly slimmed down at the upper bout dreadnaught) guitar with a two tone tobacco sunburst - starting natural colored at the center and then radiating darker towards the edges. It also features gold color tuners on the headstock, ebony bridge pins inlaid with gold acrylic, representing Taylor's 50th "Golden" anniversary. The edges of the sound board appear to have a white binding, but this is actually what's called chamferred. The wood is gently rounded, but not bound.

SteamOS going desktop is great. Valve selling a new generation of first party ITX PC Steam machines is great. Just, please, dear God, let the Steam Controller I keep hearing about NOT be the same one from 2015 because that thing has serious Turbo Touch 360 cursed vibes (If you know, you know)

A Turbo Touch 360 Super Nintendo 3rd party gamepad that, instead of featuring a directional pad, had a touch pad. The touch pad is bright blue with little tactile bums to try and help indicate where your thumb is inside the touch pad. It also features four turbo switches along the top for the A, B, X, and Y face buttons.

Even though I'm not a huge Dragon Quest fan, I still think a storage box shaped like a slime would be the best. You could give it like a magnetic clsoure with a flip top head and a hollow body. Bonus if you 3D print 3 gold coins to put inside and give to a Dragon Quest 1 fan

It's not entirely black, but my aunt's first batch of honey is absolutely dark. It's got a very bold, complex flavor, and according to my research, the dark color is from being rich in iron and antioxidants from the type of flowers they harvested their pollen from I still call it goth honey 🤘🐝

Companion Cube isn't all one color. They're white, dark gray, and pink. And if you were to create even a simple cube with those 3 colors, constantly swapping between them would produce a TON of filament poop on a single nozzle printer like the P1S or A1

Still a work in progress, but I said "Screw it" and redesigned Badgey. I've got him using only 3 flat, distinct colors (Yellow, white, and black) and gave him an outline for the software I'll be using to "latch" onto for the next step (adding a keychain hole, hopefully)

LMAO!!! I'm working on a non profit/hobby project involving Badgey from Star Trek: Lower Decks, so I asked Gemini to generate me a four color version of a reference image. I got THIS monstrosity instead (Ninja edit: added reference image)
