Sindark, my Monster of the Week TTRPG series, returns this Saturday with a new episode. It's a weird one! See the synopsis below:
Game 14: Deltarune Chapter 4 Okay, late to this one because last year I wanted to go back and beat the Knight in Chapter 3 before moving on. But I didn't end up doing that. With Chapter 5 out, I finally got Chapter 4 out the way - definitely a tremendous entry in the game. Looking forward to more.
Game 13: Draugen A short narrative adventure game in an abandoned Norwegian village in the fjords. It was interesting, and I was engaged by the mystery. The credits promise more of this story and I do think there is plenty more to explore here. But I did like it.
Game 12: Tex Murphy: Mean Streets I decided to get through this one in my own time (for a particular reason) and thought it was... alright. Once you understand how the game wants to be played, it's pretty interesting. However, it does drag a bit once you've done the same thing several times.

Game 11: Tex Murphy: The Pandora Directive Another one I'd been meaning to play for a while - I loved Under a Killing Moon, and this one is just bigger and better. More ambitious, and with a tremendous story. An all-time great in the FMV niche, easily.

Game 10: Gray Matter Been meaning to play this for years, being a Jane Jensen adventure game I hadn't gotten around to. Once again, she hooked me in with an interesting mystery, great characters and left me wanting a sequel I likely won't get. I've fallen for this many times now.

Game 9: Strange Jigsaws Bought and played this on stream more on a whim - it's a very odd little puzzle game, but also really fun. Does some really clever and meta stuff that was delightful to see. Great sense of humour too!

Game 8: Tomb Raider: Chronicles Remastered The last of the 'classic' Tomb Raider games, and it's a weird one. It's an anthology of stories from various adventures in Lara's life, and as such, it's a bit disjointed. Some fun vibes, but ultimately not my favourite in the series.

Game 7: Myst III: Exile I really enjoyed my time with this one! I think it feels perhaps a tad simpler than its predecessors, but I really liked figuring out each Age and the confrontation with Saavedro at the end. (Didn't expect him to dome me with a hammer though.) Looking forward to Myst IV!
