Best decision I even made for Yaak was adding a lifetime purchase at ~4.5x the annual price. It's more expensive than any app I've ever bought, but roughly half of individuals choose it.
Of course... right after I start a new project, I get two team customers on the one that's been stalled for growth for months.

Shipped a new /download page for Yaak. Probably still needs work, but much better than before imo.
To assist my recent marketing efforts, I've added an analytics preview to each page (admin-only). It's not super useful yet, but it provides a quick way to see if a new page is getting any traffic.
Adding a new section to the landing. Almost all of Yaak's large business customers are in privacy/security sensitive industries, so going to lean in harder to this 🔐

June recap for Yaak 💹 MRR: $4,516 (−0.4%) 💰 Revenue: $2,444 (−55.2%) 💼 Subscribers: 427 (−1.4%) First monthly MRR drop in Yaak's lifetime. Weird because downloads haven't declined at all. I'm going to dig into the "why" this month. Wish me luck 🤞🏼
The Yaak CLI now generates metadata for plugins at publish time, allowing the registry to do things like show a preview of the actual theme(s) it provides. yaak.app/plugins/@ad... 👈🏼

It's hard to "upsell" a commercial-use license. Seems like lots of people think "oh ya, I'll do it later" but never do, because it's not blocking any features or use case. Thoughts on inline prompts like this?
I love how AI means I can focus more on the design/UX Yaak will now run a wider query, by default, and suggest alternates when no results are returned.

Cool, SSO (OIDC) now complete too (did SCIM earlier in the week). Quite a few edge cases and things to handle, but only a couple days of work. We'll see if it comes back to bite me later 😅
2 customers wanted it, so SCIM is here. Yaak is now enterprise-ready 💼 Funny thing is that it wasn't even that hard. Testing was more difficult than implementation.

Refactored the app so everything is an action. This means hotkeys, palette, CLI, menus, MCP, etc can all be populated from the same core.
