You have made the mistake so consistently that I assumed it was on purpose, but it's (or was... QQ) the O2 Kitchen, not café! But it was so fitting to how disconnected Eyes felt that I figured it was just another way to show that disconnect :D Also, this is the stars moment you mention :)

The Kitchen hums soft in the off-hours glow, all neon ghosts and cooling plates. mO2 stands alone behind the counter, sleeves folded up, braid a little messier than she’d ever admit. Someone left a half-finished mug of crewbrew with lipstick on it. Someone else forgot a wrench. It all feels like them.
The blanket fort is mostly folded down, a low hill of quilts and cushions. Roots blinks up at her from the last intact corner, gives a questioning mrrow as if she already knows. mO2 scoops her up one-armed and the cat settles against her chest with a sigh and a steady purr.

On the counter, waiting where she left them, are Mondo’s utterly impractical executioner’s sword, leaned against the cupboards like a half-remembered threat, and the compact dagger and scabbard gifted by Lou. She buckles the dagger on, tests the weight, then takes the sword in her free hand. It looks wrong in a kitchen and right in hers.

She drags the old chalkboard out from its nook and wipes a comet’s tail of dust across it with her palm. Her hand shakes once. She glares at it until it behaves. Then, in slow, blocky letters that smudge at the edges where her eyes won’t quite stop watering, she writes:

For everyone who ever called this place home.
Be a guest, wherever you go.

mO2 steps back, Roots warm against her, sword and dagger at her sides. She rests her fingertips on the worn wood frame, apologizing to it, letting go. There’ll be laughter in here again. They’ve got this. She drags the back of her hand across one cheek, blows out a shaky breath, and with a crooked, proud little smile, begins her goodbye:

I say goodbye to you all at once
Don't dare to face you all alone

We went from hole-in-the-wall to home
On burned crewbrew, some stew, and better company

But times have changed
A guardian's shift is never done
I pass you the keys and trust, and have to leave

Thanks for everything
I couldn't ask for more
I say "I love you all" as I vanish through the Kitchen's door

Apparently some parts of #over/under will become canon o.O Curious if the O2 Kitchen could make it, though I doubt it as generally feels like the game has stratefied a lot. The Kitchen doesn't seem relevant at the level interesting stuff happens anymore. But would be cool nonetheless.

#over/under After bringing the location inventory, I came up with something that can hopefully dm itself somewhat reasonable without me being there, using the quest-via-emoji system I learned from the ARA people. Let's see how it goes.

A discord message that describes a quest that can be completed by reacting with specific emojis (and roleplaying the respective contributions). Below is a hidden message that is supposed to be unlocked after certain work orders are done (emojis collected)
