Im bummed I couldn't get a better picture of this but it was dark and this creature was really small. This! Is a pseudoscorpion (the black clawed thing) that has grabbed onto a weevil leg and is being toted around and is using the weevil like a bus.

Here are some cloud forest birds we found at Gaungo Lodge, Ecuador. Gray breasted Mountain Toucan Turqoise Jay Green Jay (sporting a bromelia crow ) Masked Trogon

Turqoise Jay. Arguably royal blue with a pale cap and a black mask.

Yellow belly green with green. A black bib and a blue face with a bright yellow eye. He's a lot to look at especially because his tail is kind of ratty. Looks like he just came out of a rave.

A plump trogon. Dark forest green ba j with a red eyering and bright red belly. Hung around the lodge like he owned the place.

He probably does own the place.

Working on a presentation for my upcoming tour focused on butterflies.

I'm excited with how Temperance came out! Traditionally depicted as an androgynous angel - here I have a gynandromorph Malaysian Jungle Nymph. That means it's split down the middle - half male half female. I exaggerated its features for the card - but you can find these in real life occasionally.
