The good folks in Maine should think long and hard about the choice they make this November.
All the money in the world didn’t help them win their races. Pretty clear that Americans are tired of politicians who are owned by special interest groups.
Today at @mikethompson.house.gov office in Woodland,CA for #Medicare4All Day of Action. @medicare4all.bsky.social @nationalnurses.bsky.social We had a great turnout and some big asks for our congressman. Thanks for supporting M4A and thanks in advance for working even harder for millions of us.
Here is my breakfast sandwich from this morning. Boursin with freshly harvested cucumbers on GF sourdough with just harvested tomatoes and fresh coffee. I love my summer garden. Yum 😋
I am sorry for your loss. Many of us have been there with our animal companions. My Callie had bone cancer and the day came where we had to let her go. That was 12 years ago. I still miss her.
Not only is it the lowest homicide rate in CA history, it’s also lower than the national average. 👇
Yeah it really was. But I was even more impressed with the sparkling engines. That is dedication to the craft.
This stood out to me as I’m also fed up. I can understand that people go through things during these trying times. But posting the same thing over and over dozens of times while disabling replies—what’s the point? Screaming at your followers and getting 5 likes can’t be that satisfying. 😅
We use foam board and paint giant letters on it then hook them to the fence with little bungee cords. We’re there for a few hours and then take them down. We do this often. Most recently in our CA get out the vote campaign. DM me and I can give you more details.
Thank you Colma! Indeed, SILENCE IS NOT AN OPTION Here’s is my sign that’s been with me since 2018. In 2021 I thought I could retire the message and the sign. Then came Election Day 2024…
That’s about the best I’ve seen that explains the pain we’re experiencing on a daily basis.
Donald Trump must truly be out of his mind to think that American taxpayers will support this slush fund that gives money to police beating insurrectionists who committed morally repugnant political violence.
Just posting this for all. I don’t know why the Governor of Colorado thinks it’s a good idea to undermine our judicial system & a jury’s decision by commuting the reasonable sentence of an election denier who tampered with election equipment. But there is at least some pushback in Colorado.
A big shoutout to Nicolas Carjuzaa, candidate for CA House District 8. He is a champion of single payer, universal healthcare and signed the Patients over Profit pledge. @nationalnurses.bsky.social
The crazy💩the WH social media account tweets out. I’m sure the 🍊 geezer would like to become one but I see one king and one king only. There are #NoKings in America. We got rid of him when we declared our independence on July 4th, 1776, ~250 years ago. Did Trump skip HS history altogether?
No wonder he’s constantly “resting his eyes” during meetings with advisers in front of tv cameras. 😅
Interessant. Aber warum sagt mir Bluesky, dass dein Beitrag ursprünglich auf deutsch verfasst wurde?
This stave church is called Chapel in the Hills. It is an exact replica of the famous Borgund stavkirke, of Laerdal, Norway. This one is located in South Dakota and is definitely worth visiting if you find yourself near Rapid City.
This post by Jonathan Karl is deeply troubling. But it fits with what Professor Snyder talked about earlier today. I hope Congress can do something asap. @repgaramendi.bsky.social @mikethompson.house.gov 👇
I really hope that the @houserepublicans.bsky.social can be on board and support this to protect all of us and the world from this insanity we’re in right now 👇
Congrats to the Bruins women basketball players. The CA Capitol is dressed in the Blue & Gold colors of the University of California tonight in your honor. 👏👏
Good for you West Plains, MO! We’re in solidarity with you all the way from Northern California.
Just came across this Helen Keller quote. She wrote it 115 years ago. How much longer are regular folks allowing themselves to be duped until we make progress? The midterms are here…the time for meaningful change is now. Vote for those who reject the outsized influence of the small remnants.
Very hopeful sign indeed. I’m one of the organizers in our little town in NorCal & saw this awesome flag at our protest yesterday. I spoke to folks who brought it and found out they’re members of our First Nations community❣️ Every logical person seems to agree that SILENCE IS NOT AN OPTION anymore.
Thank you Professor Snyder. Saw this logical sign yesterday at the protest in our small town (which drew an even larger crowd than last time) and I think that really says it all.
