My NIF ‘Finding a Way’ is 7 years old today. Goodness! It follows a family over three and a half years as they deal with the death of a loved one. Written after the death of my daughter Laura, it was shortlisted in the UK Saboteur Awards. More details here: www.dianesimmons.co.uk

People always ask me (as a vegetarian), what I’m having for Xmas dinner. I’m excited this year to be having Angela Hartnett’s Tarte Tatin. It’s totally yummy!
Someone just sent me a Christmas card with a brace of pheasants on it. Very appropriate for a vegetarian 😂😂
