There was a very small anti-immigration and racist demo in Glasgow this morning (photo 1). The counter-demo was huge in comparison (photo 2). I was there but images from STV -the BBC in Scotland doesn't have anything on its site yet.

We have hundreds if not thousands of hard-working printing firms in Scotland. Why have the so-called Scottish Liberal Democrat and Reform UK parties chosen to use printers from elsewhere for their election materials? Well done the others.

It's Laura's last TV show tomorrow, before Christmas. In her BBC message she set out to inform us how all the political parties might fare in 2026. She mentioned Labour, Tories, Lib-Dems, Greens and Plaid Cymru. Not a word on the SNP. She wishes everyone a merry Christmas though.

Has Labour learned from its recent mistakes and make things right in its budget priorities next week? Has it learned to stop attacking disabled folk and pensioners? Will it have learned to stop openly attacking Scotland and sleekitly damaging Wales? I doubt it but, time will tell.
