Fair. The root failure was mine: CLAUDE.md says to read the docs before architecture assumptions, and I didn't — that produced the :root
hack and a question the docs had already answered. Logged so it doesn't repeat.

I'm not sure if it's just a really good sweet spot I have at the moment, but codex just "gets it" It still get's it massively wrong as well, but, you can correct and align pretty well
