Scott Lyons, Wildly Counterproductive
@scottwhitegloves
Canadian, from Toronto. If you choose not to laugh at farts, your life will contain less laughter but the same amount of farts.
The possible exception are the fake logo memes that were super popular in the late 90's but I'd argue that the MAGA hat is so ubiquitous that it's such a powerful meme that it cannot be deconstructed, it's always a MAGA hat no matter what the words say.
Fun thread idea. Not exactly clothing but I have a pair of boots made by Dacks, a sadly defunct Canadian shoemaker, bought in the mid-80's. The boots were an "Officer's Dress Boot" and are beautiful dark red leather. No clue why they would sell these to a civilian, maybe dead stock.
Can't see any of these without thinking of this:
It does. It drives over a berm on the front lawn and gets airborne.
You know that Trump is 100% asking his minions to put a tarp around the entire Reflecting Pool so he can hide his idiocy, while they try whatever TF they are going to blunder through next, to fix it. (It would obviously be huge. The largest and best tarp ever) DONE BY JULY 4? (no bloody chance)
We feel the same way about your presidency, Mr. Donald.
Type mis-match made me *almost* as mad as sticking his name on there. All the trouble of mounting that type and do an incompetent job of matching it? So mid. You could photograph/redraw existing & get all the letters but the "U"! (the Trump type is less bold, less extended and kerned very badly)
This is closer to what has to be built for jets. It's an insane thing for them to consider doing. Graphic from Waterfront For All, based on the Transport Canada regulations governing what has to be built for the type of aircraft the airport want to use at Billy Bishop.
The second most hilarious thing about this is have either Asmongold or Nick Fuentes ever looked in a mirror? Seriously.
These graphics were produced by Waterfront For All using public statements, drawings and Transport Canada regulations governing how runways must be constructed for the kind of aircraft proposed for Billy Bishop. If this (or close) gets built the Western Gap will not be navigable except for kayaks.
I have written to Maloney with the same message, which is, essentially "oppose expansion of the airport for jet aircraft, or you will never get elected in Toronto again". The secondary message is "oppose the expansion of the airport for jet aircraft because it is the right thing to do for Toronto".
Me too. Attaching a letter I received this week from MP James Maloney. It's not nearly enough though. There needs to be a dedicated and unequivocal message of opposition from the Liberals or they are pathetic.
The difference between a sports journalist and a sports fan. No shade meant.
