#HillTrackTuesdays his week features route 3 – Town Yetholm to Alwinton by Clennell Street. This is a historic crossing of the border between Scotland and Northumberland, also known as Hexpethgate. The route is 29 km long, all on minor roads or waymarked tracks. Have you walked this route?

#OnThisDay five years ago, on 28 July 2021, Network Rail closed the Ben Alder Level Crossing at #Dalwhinnie to the public. The crossing is used by a recorded public right of way and #ScottishHillTracks routes 153 and 155, two important historic routes through the Central Highlands. [1/6]...

#OnThisDay in June 1981, the action for declarator of the right of way from Strathpeffer to Falls of Rogie (SHT route 315) was brought to Dingwall Sheriff Court, following an obstruction by then-owner of Kinellan Farm.
