Of course the best part was all the friends, young and old, I got to see and spend quality time with. Thank you for making the time and effort to make this trip so fun and special. I came all this way, so of course I had to do the behind the scenes/meal tour. Plus they book out like 6 months in advance and it was only slot available 😅 worth it tho!

On the way to do the one touristy thing I wanted to do, the Hobbiton movie set. I legit could barely sleep all night from excitement. Driving down the two hours, I could not believe this to be the same country and would already enjoy the day if it was just that
To Piha Beach, where I was immediately humbled by the concept of the tide and in awe of the coast. We sat for over an hour watching the waves crash into “the gap” and the ballsy locals that got even closer
Auckland cocktails, drunken roadside burgers and fairy bread galore!
Off to New Zealand, where immediately greeted into a world where world that words or pictures never justified
Off south to a mini adventure to a magnificent waterfall, coastal wonders and roadside meat pies before saying “until next time”
