John Blanche had such a huge influence on so many artists. His stuff was weird, grim, and wildly creative. I remember my dad showing me Blanche's work as a kid, it stuck with me. Similar stories are true for so many of my colleagues. Rest in peace John, thank you for being weird, and your eye true.

Love food, but breakfast when traveling does not always offer options friendly to my body. Ive started baking an oatmeal, chia, sesame, puffed brown rice thing. Is it kinda weird to travel with a cambro full of small breakfasts? Yeah sorta, but im getting lots of nutrition and fiber this was.
