I served as the Zero Gravity Indicator (ZGI) for NASA's Artemis lI mission, which meant I had a very important job: once the Orion spacecraft entered space and I began to float, I gave the crew a visual signal that they had officially reached microgravity while they were still strapped in their seats.

I was designed by California student Lucas Ye and selected by the crew as part of a worldwide contest.

I carried 5,647,889 names from people all over the world on an SD card tucked safely inside my pocket. It was an honor to take all of you along on that journey around the Moon and back!

so we’re in a research study with our vet and as a part of that my cats got free dna panels done. my calico, who i affectionately call a gremlin swamp creature, turns out to have this in her 😭 oh and she has a decent chance of going deaf but pretty sure as of now that’s just selective on her part 🤣
