1. Has a plot twist I first saw in a comedy, which hurt an already poorly made film. 2. Old school Hammer Horror. Lee hated the get-up but he's great. 3. The internet doesn't create psychoes, the internet makes psychoes more creative. 4. Dead Birds director and writer together again. Not as good.

The literal only thing I remember from this film was the controversy of the poster enhancing Keira Knightley.

I love pro wrestling because I always imagine the match graphics getting outside of the bubble. "Cool Sunglasses" Kevin Knight vs "Doesn't know how belts work and is afraid to figure it out" Lio Rush. Imagine then explaining Lio was a normal dude who may have been possessed by a Gollum-like demon.

My Chihuahua Cookie passed away this morning. She loved treats and hated thunderstorms (and I'll miss her nuzzling against me as a "protected" her).

David R. Ellis' ASYLUM is essentially A NIGHTMARE ON ELM STREET via THE HOUSE ON HAUNTED HILL remake where the evil spirit of the head doctor of an asylum converted into a college dorm takes the trauma of the students and tortures them to death with it. Might vibe well with 1989's BURIED ALIVE.

During the pandemic, Ben Stiller had a zoom script reading of his parody of these types of films with an all-star line-up. It was a real delight (and poor David Koechner's internet kept going out and he looked ticked)

1. Fun comic book adaption with Boris Karloff as the bad guy. 2. Not fun exorcism movie. 3. Interesting update that believes subtly is for cowards. 4. Found footage where influencers run into a demon. Watched out of curiosity because the Liberty Mutal actress Lindsay Foster is in it (She's funny).

Al Pacino turns 86 today. I watched his exorcism movie from last year THE RITUAL where he is the old priest, and Dan Stevens plays the young priest. It was an entertaining but very basic exorcism movie that showed Pacino can still casually outact people who are bona fide stars when he feels like it.

1. Exorcism movie with Old Priest/Young Priest roles played by Al Pacino/Dan Stevens. Basic. 2. Never played the game. Never read the lore. Watched the first though. 3. Twilightification of a fairy tale. Better than I remembered. 4. Enjoyable action movie that Pirouettes in place of Round-kicks.

I'm so broken by unculturement, that my first thought on reading this was the pro wrestler of the same name.

I wasn't home for a storm last night, so when I came home this morning, I found this. My bad?

1. One of the better Found Footage films I've seen in quite some time. 2. Awful action movie, even with a weird ring of fire fight. 3. HOST style found footage with 8-bit horror video game filler. Endearing. 4. Not available to review on Letterboxd yet. Surprisingly fun Christine-inspired movie.

Currently Watching: CURSED HEARSE (2026) because...well, because I saw the poster and it was absurd enough that I decided to turn it on. I mean, if it's an evil car movie, why is that dude's teeth like that? Only one way to find out.

I couldn't find the review on the USA Today archive, but did find a Billboard issue that calls it a cross between "Top Gun" and "Taxi Driver." Anyway, maybe I should watch this thing
