Hiker, explorer, bird nerd, beer nerd, traveler. YIMBY. Ms fan since day one. Sporadic sports posts.
Urban walkies in Bellevue today - from the Botanical Garden to Kelsey Park and back. We are so lucky with this weather - temperate and mostly cloudy.
The mountain was definitely out when we visited Paradise with family last Sunday. It’s high wildflower season too!
Took a stroll through Pioneer Square this afternoon. The World Cup scene is pretty damn cool. 🙌 ⚽️
We made it! I was happy to submit a couple ideas to the post-it note table. We balanced out the helicopter moms who stopped by to say how hard it would be that they couldn’t drive around the block to drop their children off for school. Grrr.
From West Seattle to Redmond, one hour 25 mins from front door to Flatstick. 🍻
TFW you’ve had a week, a day, a year, wtf. Beer and pizza hitting the spot today.
Beautiful day for a brewery anniversary party. At Old Stove Gardens in Ballard. 🍻
Another Latergram, from fall 1996. Hiking the Enchantments during peak larch season. Before the era of marathon thru-hiking, it was just us and the goats.
I decided to start scanning old photos to digital so I can share and enjoy them easier. This is me at Arches, circa 1997. I’m guessing I wouldn’t find this much peace and quiet there these days.
I love Metier Brewing. Good neighborhood vibes and good beer. (This is a collab with Aslan, a Czech Dark Lager.)
I love our Easy Street Records. Band of Horses did an in-store set tonight! #westseattle
At MotoSonora Brewing in Tucson: Gabby Gifford’s prized ‘72 BMW bike on loan. I fan-girled.
Saguaro National Park is full of greenery and wildflowers after recent desert rains 😍 #vaca
Stopped by the Super Deli Mart to pick up game day beers, and they have Pliny the Younger on tap. Schooner pours only. Twist my arm.
I’m sad we won’t be able to watch much Olympics stuff live this time around. But I’m happy to watch all the replays of curling!
Forest bathing hike today at the Redmond Watershed Preserve. Our first time here, and it was a beauty.
