I thought it was pretty cool that they were dropping flats of water on the side of the street, it makes more sense than trying to hand out individual bottles. Would be cooler if they put the float closer to the start so more people walking the route could grab a drink

The votes are in, and the names of the four new Department of Natural Resources helicopters will be revealed next week. In the meantime, we wanted to thank the many Nova Scotians who submitted creative names that unfortunately didn't make the final cut. The shortlist reflected the serious work these helicopters do for communities across the province, but that doesn't mean we didn't love the jokes. Among the favourites were Choppy McChop Face, Joe Howlicopter, and Donair Force One.

I have a beard because I bike in the winter. I wear this style shirt because my grandmother gave me one the first time I went to work in the woods with my grandfather (general logging manager) and they work well in many settings
