De Burgh and North Essex Bassets were sabbed several times last season, this once elusive pack continues to feel the pressure from us and our good pals @norwich_hunt_sabs preventing them from killing hares whenever we turn up.

Yesterday some of our group members attended a rally against hunting with hounds, organised by the League Against Cruel Sports in Westminster, London. There was a good turn out of hunt sab groups from around the country and other anti-hunt/wildlife protection organisations and their supporters.

Leveret hunting season starts soon 🐇 Keep an eye out for the local Hare Hunting foot packs of Essex and Suffolk and tip us off if you see them or get wind of a meet. Leveret hunting usually takes place in September and early October.
