In Japan, as I try to be each winter, with an Ainu (The Indigenous of Japan) Headband, folded in half on my Akubru. The majority of Japanese have no idea as to it's origin. Yesterday at a craft market in Kakamigahara a young woman gave a flicker of recognition. Can't tell you how delighted I was.
