Thank you to the Assembly Transportation Committee for passing my SB 1279! This commonsense bill allows Long Beach to place speed cameras along a dangerous section of the PCH that runs through our community, improving public safety and saving lives.
Refinery disasters endanger workers and frontline communities – and result in shut downs that limit our refining capacity and raise gas prices. SB 966 will turn existing safety regulations into law, protecting workers’ ability to raise safety concerns and preventing dangerous and costly incidents.
